As the country comes to grips with the economic turmoil with the current financial crisis, people are trying to find ways to save money any way they can. One way this is possible is to harness the power of the internet to work for you. One of these ways is shopping online. Shopping online has never been easier. Whether your looking for clothes, digital camera's, dvd players, laptops, mp3 players the internet has it all. The amount of product sold on the internet is downright staggering. I'll be discussing a couple reasons that shopping online is superior to standard mall shopping or shopping in general.

First thing is first. Shopping online is a lot less stressfull than shopping in a store. Sitting on your computer browsing with a cup of coffee in your hand is a lot better than dealing with the mom and her cranky, screaming kids. It gets especially bad during the holidays too. You don't have to wait in lines to checkout. You don't have to waste gas driving to a store to find out they don't have the item you are looking for. All of these things cause stress. Whether it's on you or your pocket book. Shopping online is one sure way to lower any blood pressure that may have been building during the week.

Another reason online shopping is better is things are just cheaper online. The bottom line is it costs money to run a physical store. You have to pay rent or the mortgage on the building. Your workers need to get paid. You have to pay the electricity bill, water bill and more. There's really not much of an overhead when it comes to an online store. So the company can pass the savings onto you by charging less for items. I used to work for Staples and we had a kiosk for Staples online in the store. I'd tell customers to order from there just because the amount of money you would save. Now you see lots of stores selling mainly online. Dell is a perfect example of this. Dell has some stores, but they do the majority of their business on the internet. Dell as we all know is a successfull company so it seems to have worked for them.

One other reason online shopping is worthwhile is just the amount of choice and variety in different stores. The internet pretty much has any type of product your looking for. Whether it be
digital camera's, laptops, clothes, mp3 players, dvd players, cars, gps systems, hunting equipment and on and on. Basically, you'd be hard pressed to find a product that wasn't sold on the internet. If you looking for a specific type of shoe there's probably ton's of websites that actually have it. You can compare prices and get a good bargain. Which leads to my next point that comparison shopping is a lot easier shopping online.

Stores have set prices on items. In order to compare their prices with another store's you have to physically walk out of the store and walk into another. Then you have to go through the store till you find the same item and then you can compare. However that's just two stores prices. Imagine being able to compare 20 or 30 stores prices in under 5 minutes. That's pretty much what the internet can do for you. Again why would you spend money on gas driving all over the place comparing prices in actual stores? The internet can do it faster and cheaper. Sounds like a smarter way to shop to me.

My last point is how much faster it is shopping online. Again, driving from store to store takes time. Time you could be spending with your family or friends. These reasons alone are reason enough for me to shop online. You can browse a store in a single click and be done shopping in no time. Did I mention how much gas you would save yet? I think I have.

These reasons I believe are enough to show why online shopping is a better way of shopping. Real stores can't hold a candle to shopping online. So if you like jacked up prices, cranky screaming kids, not being able to find a parking spot, grouchy people and holiday madness then maybe online shopping isn't for you. But I think most people will agree that online shopping is just better.

Popularity of Cheap Netbooks

By Johnson John

In this fast paced world, we are so short on time, that we do not get enough time to stay in touch with our near and dear ones. We make all sort of excuses for that saying there is so much work, the boss yells, etc. But at the same time staying in touch with your close ones is very important. It also helps us to relieve our tension, relax and have a good laugh. It has become very easy these days to contact your loved ones by mobile or through the Internet. Earlier letters used to take days to reach the recipient. But now with just a click of the mouse, you can convey your feelings and thoughts to your friends and family within seconds. It is no surprise then that people are buying laptops and computers constantly. The new trend among users is buying cheapest netbooks.

The popularity of netbooks is the greatest among students for a number of reasons. Go to any netbook review site and you will a number of netbooks available for students. The screen is not more than 10 inch high and are very light in weight. Most weigh at the most 2 to 3 pounds. That is why; they can be carried around even in a small bag all day long without tiring yourself out. Read any netbook reviews and they will all point to the advantage of the netbook being very portable. It is small in size and very compact. So you can take it almost everywhere with you and stay connected. It also allows you to access the Internet anywhere you want.

A netbook review site will also list sturdiness and strength as being a great feature of the netbook. They are not delicate, so if you happen to knock it somewhere, it would still work fine. Students are generally careless and fun loving and accidents have a habit of taking place with a group of students around. Hence, netbooks offer the best solution for them.

Netbook reviews also point out the fact that netbooks score over standard laptops by having longer battery life. This works out better since there is no need to keep recharging the battery. The students may not always get the chance to charge their netbooks. So it is always advisable to carry something that has a long lasting battery.

Most netbooks have at least 1GB RAM and Intel processors. Some even have solid state hard drives. This makes them sturdier and less prone to damage. Their operating systems are the latest ones to hit the market like Windows Vista. They also have around 30 to 60 GB hard drives with some even having 160 GB storage capacities. There are many other quality features that you can get acquainted with on the netbook review site.

A netbook price comparison with laptops is what turns the tide in its favour. Most students do not earn any income. So they prefer having cheap netbooks rather than spend on expensive laptops. If you do a netbook price tracking, you will find that most are priced around 180 to 250 pounds. So many students can afford to own one.

All these features and many more ensure that netbooks remain the favourite choice among all students.
